Our Vision
Universal Confederation of Hospitals and Healthcare’s vision is to have healthy citizens and cooperation and harmony among hospitals and healthcare providers. UCHH aims at transforming India into the most advanced and competitive global healthcare provider. While pursuing the association’s objectives as a not-for-profit organisation, UCHH shall aim to ensure private hospitals become centre of excellence and provide globally competitive medical service by implementing state-of-the-art medical technology.
UCHH shall also promote the spirit of unity among the members and act as coordinating body for the purpose. It will work to co-ordinate and to create an atmosphere of collaboration of similar associations and bodies all over India.
Our Mission
• Universal Confederation of Hospitals and Healthcare (UCHH) shall act as a catalyst to promote health and healthcare services through meaningful and timely interventions.
• UCHH shall provide a meaningful networking platform for its member hospitals and health care organisations for the purpose of resource sharing, knowledge sharing and business tie ups. It shall foster companionship and cooperation among members
• UCHH shall act as a bridge between governments and hospitals and other healthcare service providers for smooth functioning of the system and easy implementation of government health and insurance schemes in hospitals.
•UCHH shall encourage referral services between its member hospitals for their mutual benefit and strive to provide patients best healthcare services within its member network
• UCHH shall unite members for the common good and become voice against unwarranted impositions of rules and regulations by the government and external bodies
• UCHH shall help in maintaining the honour and dignity and upholding the rights of its member organisations
• UCHH shall take up cases of violence against hospitals and medical professions aggressively with respective authorities and government to ensure zero incidence.
• UCHH shall promote the member bodies and their services at global level and help in promoting medical tourism
• UCHH shall collaborate, associate and partner with state governments, union government, international health organisations, NGOs, associations, accrediting bodies, regulatory agencies, councils, research institutions, academic institutions and solicit their support to engage in research and health survey assignments and programmes.
• UCHH shall proactively work with the government, policy making institutions, various commissions and committees on proposed legislations/regulations and other reforms, which can enable healthcare providers to deliver affordable healthcare services.
• UCHH shall organise workshops, training programmes, seminars, conferences and exhibitions to educate and bring together advanced medical technologies and advance procedures and modern practices for members and medical fraternity.
• UCHH shall work closely with states and union government to simplify rules and regulations for easy operation of healthcare services.
•UCHH shall institute unique awards to recognise and encourage the initiatives and services of doctors, hospitals and other healthcare professionals
• UCHH shall bring out regular news bulletins, periodicals, news letters and magazines to promote healthcare services and highlight the excellence in services.
• UCHH shall collaborate with national and international platforms engaged in work of similar nature to have access to best practices and may undertake on request training & quality improvement activities abroad.
• UCHH shall engage in bulk procurement of medical equipment, medicines and other medical related devices, services and machineries on behalf of members for ensuring best possible deals.
• UCHH shall provide legal support to its members through its legal cell
• UCHH shall provide consultancy on demand for accreditation, regulatory compliances, liaison, media promotion and publicity services.
